 The short story I chose to summarize and react to is The important things in life. This is story a professor teaches his students about life is like rocks or pebbles or sand.

1.Symbolism

 I think this story the important symbols of this story are rocks and pebbles and sand.The rocks are  the important things. For example your familiy your health,your life would still be full.The pebbles are the other things that matter -like your job,your house.Finally,the sand is everything else,the small stuff.

 This stroy theme is which are is important of own life  because things we can do in life are limited as things can fill in jar.

 I think this story appeal is about life.The life which we are passing before every day is explained in detail using an example.

About the poem My Love is Like a Red Red Rose is a 1794 song in scots by Robert Burns based on traditional sources.

There are many strong images in this poem. For example, Burns says he will love his lover until my dear till a the seas gang dry my dear.

Burns uses many similies. For example, he says his lover's love is like a rose, or like a melody. These similies help us understand his deep, deep, deep, deep love for this woman.

3. Connotation
Burns uses words that communicate his feelings very well. For example, he says his lover's is like a rose, or like a melody.These words show his feeling of very strong love.

4. General Opinion
I think about tihis poem is moved.Because,Burns is express his ideas well in poem.
